National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir spoke at the police memorial ceremony at the police section of Mount Herzl Military Cemetery, saying: 'Thanks to Israel's fallen who sacrificed their lives for us, we and our children can celebrate Independence Day. Because of the fallen's heroism, we can exist and live here. It is this heroism that prevented Hamas militants from fulfilling their desires and penetrating deep into the territory of the State of Israel.'
