Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg has scheduled an urgent hearing for next week following a petition against the Attorney General, Gali Baharav-Miara, regarding her decision to prohibit Netanyahu from appointing former Major General David Zini as head of the Shin Bet. Sohlberg also ordered the Attorney General to inform how long the investigation of the Qatargate affair would take: "They should inform what is the expected time still needed for the Shin Bet investigations, due to which a conflict of interest is claimed." Sohlberg also decided to include the chairman of the Senior Appointments Committee, retired Justice Asher Grunis, as a respondent to the petition.
