The head of French intelligence Nicolas Lerner addressed the Israeli and American strikes against nuclear facilities in Iran, assessing that "Iran's nuclear program was severely impacted and damaged." He added that "the nuclear program was set back several months." The French official further stated that "part of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile was destroyed, but part remains in the authorities' possession. We have indications about the location of this stockpile, but we cannot say with certainty until IAEA inspectors return to Iran."
