Syria reported that armed men and forces affiliated with President Ahmad al-Shara's regime violated the ceasefire in the Druze stronghold of As-Suwayda in the south of the country and attacked houses in the nearby village of Atil. According to the report, government forces opened fire with machine guns and fired mortar shells, some of which hit the village of Ara in the area.
