Tzach Bergerson, a 36-year-old reservist and entrepreneur of the startup "SkyHoop," developed a device based on mobile phone technology designed to alert ground troops of aerial threats, such as drones. Bergerson, like many reservists, combined his military experience with his civilian expertise to develop the technology. According to the Israeli organization Startup Nation Central, which tracks innovation in the country, more than a third of the security startups registered with it were founded after the October 7 massacre.
