IDF Spokesman, Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin, issued a statement to the media saying that "Iran's nuclear program has been set back years." His comments came following reports on CNN and the New York Times, which claimed, based on preliminary analysis, that American and Israeli strikes on nuclear facilities had only delayed Iran by a few months. He added: "I can say, in accordance with the statement of IAEA chief Rafael Grossi, that there is Iran before the operation – and there is Iran after."
