Iran has ordered thousands of tons of ballistic missile components from China in an effort to rebuild its military strength, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the deal between the two countries. The sources said that shipments of ammonium perchlorate compound, which can power hundreds of ballistic missiles when combined with fuel, are expected to arrive in Iran in the coming months. According to one source, some of these materials may also be sent to pro-Iranian militias, including the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
