Iranian lawmakers have accused the government of excluding parliament from negotiations with the United States on Sunday, with one representative stating legislators were not informed about the ongoing talks.
“The people of Iran should know that the parliament has no information about the negotiations, but now that this process is supposed to take place, we will not oppose it,” the Tehran-based lawmaker said anonymously, as reported by local media. “Perhaps there is no other way, but from now on, you must distinguish between friend and foe.”
