Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during cross-examination in his corruption trials that "Yedioth Ahronoth, in full cooperation with law enforcement agencies, orchestrated a fictitious investigation about gifts." Attorney Sharon Kleinman, representing Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes, asked Netanyahu if hostility against him increased since the establishment of Israel Hayom newspaper. The Prime Minister replied: "Yedioth was hostile the entire time since I entered politics. As I grew stronger, the hostility increased."
