Dvora Idan, mother of Tzachi Idan who was kidnapped and murdered by Hamas, said at the Hostages Square that "4,000 days since Hadar Goldin was kidnapped and has not returned. 4,000 days that his family has been waiting. And an entire nation remains silent. We hoped to embrace Tzachi, but he returned to us as a casualty. For seven years we were part of the Hadar formation. Every Friday we stood alongside Leah and Simcha Goldin at the 'Black Arrow' monument and fought for the values – the commitment not to leave soldiers behind. If we don't bring everyone back now in one agreement – we will repeat the same terrible mistake of abandonment. We must not repeat that mistake. If we give up again we will lose our national identity."
